Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program

The Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program (MFTIP) is a voluntary program administered by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry that offers a significant property tax reduction on well-managed forest land in Ontario. It is an incentive to support you in the stewardship of your woodlot.

The program has been in place for over twenty years, and we have been working with landowners in the preparation and submission of their plans since the very beginning.

We have tailored plans to meet landowners’ objectives for properties that range in size from 10 acres to 

39,000 acres and are past recipients of the Plan of the Year Award.
